Mr. Patrick Sarullo, Principal

Patrick Sarullo is a lifelong resident of South Plainfield and graduate of South Plainfield High School Class of 1999, where he was also a standout Varsity Baseball player for the Tigers. He has Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology & Education, Master of Arts in Education & Curriculum, and received his Post Master’s certification in Administration from Caldwell University. Mr. Sarullo taught Reading, Language Arts, & Mathematics at the South Plainfield Middle School for 7 years. In his tenure, he was also a South Plainfield Adult School Instructor, Assistant Baseball Coach at SPHS, Assistant Soccer and Basketball Coach, & Chess Club Advisor at South Plainfield Middle School. Patrick assumed the position of Vice-Principal in the Wanaque School District in 2013.
Mr. Sarullo returned to the South Plainfield School District as Vice Principal at South Plainfield High School in 2016 and obtained the position of Grant School Principal in 2017. He is extremely grateful that the South Plainfield Board of Education, Dr. Lishak, and Mr. Ron Spring have presented him the opportunity to return to South Plainfield. “It is an honor to return home and work for this wonderful district that has already provided me so much in my life. I am just so happy for the opportunity to help support this administration, staff, students, and community in our quest to make South Plainfield Schools the best they can be. I need to thank some important people for providing me guidance in my career. Mr. Steven Novak, Jr. for teaching me how to be a teacher, Mr. Anthony Massaro for inspiring me to be an educational leader, Mr. Kevin Hajduk for mentoring me as an administrator, and my parents Billie Jean & Patrick Sarullo, Sr. for teaching me to always be a good person.”
Patrick Sarullo happily resides in South Plainfield with his wife Jillian (Hoppe) Sarullo 99’, son William, & dog Molly.
